If anyone has been waiting for Bobbi’s downfall, it’s me.

After everything that has happened between Bobbi, Lethabo and Ndumi on e.tv’s The Four of Us, Bobbi is finally ready to marry the woman he chose. Unfortunately for him, his wedding day is about to become the day everything comes crashing down.

Lethabo may be done with Bobbi and their 16-year relationship, but there is one final thing she needs to do before she closes that chapter of her life: get her sweet revenge.

And what better place to do it than at his wedding?

Here Comes the Bride

Let’s paint the picture.

It appears Mathapelo and Ndumi have repaired their relationship, with Mathapelo standing by Ndumi as one of her bridesmaids.

The bridesmaids make their entrance looking beautiful, and then comes Ndumi.

She is the bride. The main event. The chosen one.

After fighting to be together despite Bobbi’s family strongly opposing their relationship, Ndumi and Bobbi finally stand together at the altar, in front of a priest, ready to say “I do.”

Bobbi certainly believes he has made the right decision.

“Ndumi stole my heart. I’ve made the right choice, and I want to be with her forever,” he declares.

But somewhere nearby, Lethabo is waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike.

And strike she does.

Lethabo Has One Last Surprise

Just as Bobbi and Ndumi are about to begin their happily ever after, Lethabo walks into the wedding wearing a beautiful white dress of her own.

She has come with information.

Lethabo points at Ndumi and exposes a secret from her past in front of Bobbi and their wedding guests. Ndumi is stunned that someone knows her history, but there is nowhere to hide. Bobbi confronts her and she is eventually forced to admit the truth.

Suddenly, the woman Bobbi was ready to spend forever with has some explaining to do. And considering how Bobbi and Ndumi’s relationship began, there is something almost poetic about Lethabo being the person who interrupts their wedding.

But the universe, apparently, is not finished with Bobbi yet.

From the Altar to a Jail Cell

While his romantic life is falling apart, trouble is also brewing at Dhlomo Motors.

A major scandal erupts when vehicles linked to the family business are identified as stolen, putting the Dhlomo family and everyone connected to the business under serious pressure.

Busani is eventually faced with an impossible decision between protecting the business and saving the rest of the family from being dragged down with it.

A desperate call is made, and Bobbi ends up directly in the sights of the police.

Back at the wedding, Bobbi is dealing with Ndumi’s revelation, his family is in crisis and the police are closing in.

It all becomes too much.

Bobbi calls off the wedding.

And just when you think the day cannot possibly get any worse, the police arrive and arrest him.

One minute he is standing at the altar preparing to become somebody’s husband. The next, he is headed for a jail cell.

What was supposed to be the beginning of Bobbi and Ndumi’s forever becomes a spectacular disaster.

So, What Happens Now?

The more interesting question is whether this really marks the end of Bobbi and Ndumi.

Bobbi has spent much of this relationship convinced that following his heart justified the decisions he made along the way. Now that Ndumi’s own past has been exposed, will he be able to extend the same understanding he expected everyone else to give him?

Especially now that Bobbi does not exactly have the moral high ground.

Then there is Lethabo.

After 16 years with Bobbi, repeatedly forgiving his cheating and eventually watching him leave her to marry another woman, she finally gets her moment.

But will publicly destroying Bobbi and Ndumi’s wedding be enough to satisfy her?

Or, more importantly, will getting her revenge finally allow Lethabo to close this chapter and move on with her life?

Either way, Bobbi wanted a wedding day nobody would forget.

It looks like he got one.
